NJHS Students from CJH Go Above and Beyond to Help Our Community!

This year, the CJH Middle School chapter of NJHS decided to give back to two local charities that they felt needed support. They chose the Veterans of Orange County and the Goshen Food Pantry. They felt that these two organizations could use some extra money during the holidays to help them help the members of our Goshen community. Representatives John Strobl and Susan Armistead came to receive the check. The CJH chapter of the NJHS is committed to helping the local community with volunteer hours and our fundraising efforts.

Congrats to Kaylee and Jenna!

Kaylee Croughan is Goshen's newest OCIAA Diving Champion—She set the OCIAA meet record last week! Jenna Fonda also had an outstanding showing. We are so proud of them and their efforts!

Student musicians

The Maybrook Wind Ensemble, conducted by GIS teacher Bill Greene, is a community band made up of adults and several high school students from surrounding districts. They are going to be performing at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, November 7th at 3 pm. Mr. Greene, pictured here along with high school trumpet musicians Lucas Collishaw and Aarush Vohra and CJH teacher/trombonist Andrew Pacht will be representing Goshen! Tickets are available through the Carnegie Hall website as well as the band's website. Click the button for more information. We're so proud of our outstanding music program in Goshen and delighted to see it spread beyond our own community.
