Welcome back from
GHS Principal Robert Litz
The summer is winding down for most of
the students, while many have already
returned to the campus. August 18 marked
the start of fall sports and the return
of all the fall athletes. This time of
year continues to be exciting for me as
the sounds of students and activities
moving throughout the building signal
the beginning of a new school year.

September menus
provide nutritious, appealing meals...check
them out!
A young
adult’s nutrition is no small issue and
the Food Services Department provides
nutritious and appealing meals for both
breakfast and lunch. In fact, school
lunches provide one-third of the
recommended dietary intake for calories,
protein and vitamins A and C, iron and
calcium. On average, a meal contains
less than 30 percent of calories from
fat and less than 10 percent from
saturated fat.
Your
student can choose from a variety of
items, including milk, juice, cereal and
French toast sticks for breakfast; and
pizza, tacos, baked ziti and assorted
sandwiches for lunch.
