2008
National Young Leaders State Conference (Back)
The C. J. Hooker
Middle School takes great pride and pleasure in
announcing this year’s Student Nominees to the 2008
National Young Leaders State Conference, sponsored
by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council.
Founded in 1985, the Council’s mission is to “foster
and inspire young people to achieve their full
leadership potential.” The Conference challenges
each scholar to step forward with conviction and
confidence, to grasp the concepts of leadership that
will be taught and to act upon their dreams of
making a difference in their communities.
Students were nominated by Beth Miller, School
Social Worker, based on leadership potential and
scholarship. The nominees to the Conference are:
Seventh Grade
Francesca Carlucci, Cody Cuttler, Alyssa Frenette,
Jaclyn Krauss, Kiondra Noe, Malik Moses-Westphal,
Joshua Miller, Alessandra Martinez, Abaigael
O’Brien, Rene Peterson, Alexandria Plocharczyk.
Eighth Grade
