Jocelyn Marone named National Hispanic Scholar
8, 2016 – Goshen High School senior Jocelyn Marone was
selected as a National Hispanic Scholar by the College Board National
Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP).
National Hispanic Scholars scored in the top 2.5%
among Hispanic and Latino PSAT/NMSQT takers in the region.
Participation in NHRP
enables students to highlight their outstanding educational achievements
to top colleges and universities.
Jocelyn is president of Student Voice and a member of
LGBTQ+ and Allies, National Honor Society,
World Language Honor Society, and Science Olympiad. She plans on
majoring in social work and Spanish in the fall. She is the daughter of
Debra and Bernard Marone.
