February 28, 2012 - The weather forecast is calling for a possible winter storm beginning mid-morning tomorrow, February 29, with a mixture of snow, sleet and rain.
According to the forecast, students will have already begun their regular school day by the time the storm begins tomorrow morning. The district tries to avoid the practice of sending children home early from school, but this may become necessary due to the storm’s anticipated mid-morning start time.
In the event of an early dismissal, we would like to remind our parents and guardians to please make sure that someone is available for your child in case your child is sent home, and if not, that your child has somewhere to go. We realize this may be an inconvenience for some, but the safety of our students is the district’s main priority.
If you have any questions, please contact the Superintendent at 615-6720.
